Based in Belgium
Pixel Picasso is an augmented reality memory game made with a projector and a webcam.
A pattern is displayed on the floor. Players need to remember the placing and color of the different tiles. After a short period, the pattern is removed and players recreate it with physical tiles they find around the playing area. When the timer runs out Pixel Picasso checks the playing field with a webcam and gives a final score.
Pixel Picasso is a lot of fun for young and old. It may look easy from the sidelines, but jump in and feel how challenging it actually is.
Pixel Picasso was initially developed for the 2018 And& Festival in Leuven. After a total rehaul it toured festivals, events, libraries and cultural houses in 2019, before finally laid to rest in 2020.
